Portals often want one document out of a bundle: the passport page from a scanned set, the signed page of a contract, the summary of a long report. Click the pages you need (they are highlighted) or type them, for example 1, 4-6, and they are copied into a new PDF in document order.

The pages are copied, not re-rendered, so text stays selectable and quality is unchanged; the new file is usually much smaller than the original. Your original PDF is not modified.

How to use it

  1. Choose a PDF; its pages appear as thumbnails.
  2. Click the pages to keep, or type pages and ranges and click "Select these pages".
  3. Click Extract pages and download the new PDF.

Frequently asked questions

Are my files uploaded?

No. The file is read and processed by your browser on your device; nothing is sent to a server. You can load the page, switch off Wi-Fi and it still works.

How is this different from Split PDF?

Extract saves one PDF with the pages you pick. Split PDF cuts a document into several files, by ranges or every N pages.

Can I change the order of the extracted pages?

Pages keep their original order. To reorder them, open the extracted PDF in Organize PDF.

Are links and form fields kept?

Links and annotations on the extracted pages are kept. Document-level extras such as the bookmark outline are not carried over.

What if my PDF is password-protected?

The tool will say so. If it is your file and you know the password, remove the protection with Unlock PDF first, then use the unlocked copy here.
