Terms of use

GivenTool provides software tools that run in your browser. You may use them for any lawful purpose with files you have the right to process. You are responsible for keeping copies of your original files; the tools never modify originals but you should still verify results before relying on them.

The tools are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Size presets and format requirements described on the site are provided for convenience and may be out of date; always confirm requirements with the organisation you are submitting to. We are not liable for rejected submissions, data loss or any other damages arising from use of the tools.

Calculators (such as gratuity, end-of-service, zakat, loan and VAT) show the formula they use and are for guidance only. They are not legal, financial or religious advice. Invoices, letters, CVs and other generated documents are templates; you are responsible for their content and for checking that they meet your local requirements.

Free tools have per-file size limits shown on each tool page. Automated or abusive access, scraping and attempts to interfere with the site are not permitted.

Guides and reference pages link to official and third-party websites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or availability. Reference tables may be quoted with a link back to the page.
