No scanner nearby? Use the camera. Press "Use camera" to take pictures of each page from this page, or "Take or choose photos" to use your phone's camera app or photos you already have. Every page is cleaned up with a document filter: levels are stretched so the paper turns white and the ink dark, contrast is boosted, and you can switch to grayscale or crisp black and white, which also makes the PDF much smaller.
Reorder or remove pages before saving; each photo becomes one A4 or Letter page (or a page the size of the photo). The camera is only switched on when you press the button, the picture never leaves your device, and nothing is recorded.
For the best result, lay the page on a dark, flat surface in even light and hold the phone straight above it. The tool does not straighten skewed photos; crop and straighten them in your photo app first if needed.
How to use it
- Press "Use camera" and capture each page, or "Take or choose photos".
- Put the pages in order and remove any bad shots.
- Choose the look (colour document, grayscale or black and white) and the page size.
- Click Create PDF and download it.
Frequently asked questions
Is the camera picture uploaded?
No. The video and photos are processed by your browser on your device; nothing is sent to a server or stored.
The camera button does not appear or does not work
Your browser or device may not allow camera access here, or you declined the permission. "Take or choose photos" always works; on phones it opens the camera app.
Can I make the PDF searchable?
Yes: run the scanned PDF through OCR PDF to add a selectable text layer.
Does it straighten crooked photos?
No. Automatic perspective correction is not included; shoot from straight above, or straighten the photo in your gallery app before adding it.
